THEDARKEST HOUR (Cry of an angel) Season 2 Episode 15

David kept smiling as Udoka sang along with the music by a purpolar Nigerian artist, Davido. Something was strange: why did Udoka suddenly forget about Mrs Robinson's accusation and reactions towards her and became extremely happy within a twinkle of an eye? David couldn't figure out the answer to that question. As he kept glancing at udoka with a smile, he also began to forget about his mother's troubles. Udoka raised her two hands in the air and shook her body romantically to the music. "..money fall on me, banana fall on me.." she kept singing. It got to an extent David was moved by the music and the romantic voice of Udoka, so he also joined her.

7:30pm
At the twins resident, the gate opened and the ray of light from Udoka's car shone on the building thereby reflecting on the window glasses. Seeing that, Adaku and Faith came out in bumshort. The light reflected on their smiling faces then David, the driver, smiled too. He put the car to a stop, came out, opened the next door for Udoka and kissed her.
"Hmmm!!" Adaku and Faith made an amusing sound smiling seriously.
Udoka wanted to handle David's jacket back to him but he rejected it saying, "You can keep it"
"For real?"
"Yeah"
"Thanks" Udoka kissed him again and wanted to walk away but David waved the car key to her in a way for her to take it along. "No, drive yourself to the campus, I'll pick it up tomorrow when i come to school" Udoka added.
"Alright" David waved at the two girls who reciprocated before he drove out. The three girls watched him until the car vanished before all entered simultaneously.
"Madam, Udoka.." Adaku began. She was standing while Udoka and Faith were sitting looking at her. "Now, tell me, when are we going for the wedding?" Adaku placed her hand on the waist staring at Udoka who glanced at Faith surprisingly.
"Whose wedding?" Udoka questioned.
"Your wedding of course"
"Lekwanum aya!" Udoka exclaimed in igbo language.
However, Faith had been giggling without saying a word.
"I know David must have proposed to you" Adaku continued. "Because the kind of happy both of you are today has no comparison"
"Abeg, let me pass!" Udoka stood up. "No be only wedding and proposal. We shall be having our Child's dedication tomorrow" she added then Faith burst out laughing while Adaku giggle and sat beside her. When Udoka got to the door of their room, she turned and asked, "Where is my sister?"
"I have used her for rituals" Adaku replied.
Udoka stared at her with a smile then entered into the room to see Monica sleeping. That was unusual. Monica hardly sleep at that time except something strange was about to happen or happened to her. Therefore, Udoka stared at her steadily then her mind went to Sandra immediately.

9:10pm
David had told Mike how their journey went. Both laid on the bed face-up wearing only boxers. The room was totally dark. Just their voices could be heard.
"It seems like you don't like Udoka" David began. "You prefer Sandra to her. Why?"
"You surprise me" Mike turned facing David in the darkness. "Sandra is your class, not Udoka. Though I'm not saying she's a bad girl, but if i were in your shoes which i will never be coz I'm not a lover boy, i will choose Sandra"
David smiled. He knew Mike very well to be straight and choose girls without having any feelings for any. "Have you experienced love before?" he asked.
"I dey craz?" Mike retorted.
"Then shut your mouth coz if you fall in love, you'll definitely be in my shoes. Try to develop feelings for a single girl"
"Yes, sir. Thank you, sir" Mike replied while David giggled. Just then, his cell phone bling thereby illuminating the room with it's light. He picked it and glanced at the message from Udoka which read thus: SOMETIMES SOMETHING SOMEWHERE HAPPENS FOR A REMEMBRANCE. NEVER FORGET TODAY MY LOVE.
David became confuse finding it difficult to decode the message.

On the other hand, Udoka heard his phone bling too after some minutes. She opened a message which came from David thus: TOGETHER, WE SHALL REMEMBER TODAY MY LOVE.
Udoka smiled then laid to sleep. Would that be her last happiest day and moment? All that happened, did it happen because she wasn't gonna see the rising sun the next day? Why did Monica fall into an unusual sleep? Something was strange and fishy.

12midnight
Now comes the darkest hour Sandra and Kate had been preparing for a whole week. For one to prepare for a journey using the whole week shows the gravity and powerful of the journey. The two girls were on black attire inside a car running like never before. The tires of the car experienced a different rotation because Kate was the driver. The road was lonely and dark with the chirping sound of crickets. Where they were going to was something Sandra couldn't write home about. They got to a particular place then Kate pulled over. They stepped down standing beside each other. When Kate saw Sandra shaking, she said, "Put yourself together. Are you ready?"
