THE DARKEST HOUR (Cry of an angel) Season 2 Episode 14

Total silence took over after Mr Robinson addressed his wife intrasitively for exhibiting an attitude of intrigue. Therefore she remained dumb staring at her husband while David felt the intricacy of the tranquility.
"I'm sorry my husband" was the reply from Mrs Robinson thereby breaking the silence but her husband didn't say anything rather averted his eyes from her.
Already, Ugonma had noticed how scared Udoka was then she suspended what she was doing and said, "You seem scared of something"
Udoka smiled at her in a factitious manner. She concentrated again, yet said nothing.
"I know it has to do with my mother's presence" Ugonma continued. "Don't be scared, you'll be use to her character"
Just as Ugonma finished talking, Mrs Robinson opened the kitchen forcefully thereby startling Udoka to the extent she nearly hurt herself with a knife she was holding. There were two gas cookers in the kitchen, a sink with a running tap and one electric cooker that had an oven at it's base. The walls of the kitchen had white ties which brightness illuminated the more due to a light from an electric white bulb.
"Welcome, mum" Ugonma greeted smiling at her mother who stood at the door still with a hand on the doorknob. Udoka was the next person to her. She stared at her maliciously without responding to her daughter's greetings.
"Good evening, ma'am" Udoka greeted her too, yet she said nothing.
"Mummy, we are greeting you!" Ugonma shrieked then held her stomach coz the shouted affected her wound. Instantly, Udoka turned and held her in a way to reduce the pains.
"What have you done to my daughter?!" Mrs Robinson rushed inside. "Get your hands off her!" she pushed Udoka away. Meanwhile, Ugonma had started coughing staggering with her mother towards the door. When David and the father heard their voices, they ran to the kitchen just to see Udoka standing alone from behind.
"What's the problem?" Mr Robinson queried.
"Asked the girl David came here with" the wife replied then the two men stared at Udoka who shook her head negatively and said, "I did nothing, sir"
Without saying a word, Mr Robinson left the kitchen angrily to his room while the wife took Ugonma to her room. Only David stood back still looking at Udoka whose eyes engulfed with tears.
"David, i didn't do anything" the tears finally dropped. "We greeted your mother but she refuse to answer. Therefore Ugonma shouted, probably forgetting that she's not yet strong enough which resulted to this. To my surprise, your mother accused me to be the cause"
"Is okay" David dried her tears. As both went out from the kitchen, they bumped on Mrs Robinson who came out from Ugonma's room. She stared at both of them then pushed forward.
"Mum, why are you behaving like this?" David interrupted her.
"David, ongini?" the mother turned. "Can't you see that this girl is a bad luck?"
Hearing that, Udoka entered into the room to change up.
"Stop calling her names, mum!" David shouted. "Accusing her wrongly is enough already! What has she done to you?!"
"Are you shouting at me, David?"
"What's the noise all about?" Mr Robinson came out. Nobody told the wife to enter into her room while David remaind standing staring at his father. Just then, Udoka came out walking towards the door.
"Williams" Mr Robinson called her by her surname. She turned as she dried her tears with a handkerchief.
"I'm sorry, sir but i have to go"
"I'm sorry too my daughter. My wife could be mean sometimes. I'll like to see you again" Mr Robinson said.
Udoka nodded her head then walked out before David sat down with his father. He told him all that Udoka told him then left too.

Inside the car, as David drove faster going back to school, Udoka didn't say a word. There is nothing David did not say or do to make her talk but she never opened her mouth. After an hour, Udoka slept off with her head rested on the seat but it kept dangling off from it. Her skirt slightly opened from her thighs and breast stood firm. Seeing that, David pulled over. He bent the seat she was sitting in a horizontal manner and covered her up with his jacket. He romantically slid her hair backward, kissed her on the forehead and drove off again. Just before they got to school, Udoka woke up. She found herself covered up and her seat lying horizontally then she set it vertical again. To David's surprise, she looked at him with a smile and said, "Thank you. Your wife will enjoy you"
"Why? Am i a plate of food?" David asked smiling back at her.
"Don't you know?"
"Then eat me"
"You think i can't eat you, abi" Udoka grabbed his neck and began to kiss him while David giggled.
"I'm driving oh!" he shouted under his breath then pulled over instantly, yet Udoka was still kissing him which he reciprocated fully and surprisingly. Udoka quit the kiss looked into his eyes and said, "I love you so much"
"I love you more dear" David replied.
"Oya, take me home"
"Yes, ma!" David drove off while udoka slot in Davido's music and sang along with him..
