Sandra could be seen walking to and fro in the livingroom with a hand on her forehead. A plasma television was active but nobody paid attention to it even Kate who sat on one of the couches watching Sandra behave woozy.
"Those idiots couldn't carry out a simple assignment!" Sandra angrily said. "Why didn't they kill that girl? For what reason?!"
"I told you to do it by yourself but you wouldn't listen" Kate said calmly. She brought out a packet of cigarette and began to smoke. Just then, the assassins walked in without their guns. They were all in a stock jean trousers and boots. They didn't bother to step into the inner part of the living room rather stood close to the door.
"You fools!" Sandra approached them angrily. "I thought you were good at this not knowing that you can't even kill a mosquito"
Those words hurt Skiddy badly so he looked at Sandra. "Why you dey vibrate? We did what you told us to do"
"You did nothing! The girl you claim to kill is still alive lying at Fumbi hospital!"
Hearing that, the boys looked at one another amazingly.
"You mean that girl survived those bullets!" Danny spoke up.
"Cheeii!" Sky exclaimed.
"Did you just say Fumbi hospital?" Skiddy asked.
"Yes, and make sure she's dead this time around" Sandra instructed.
"Don't worry" the boys went out. Sandra turned, she saw Kate smoking uncontrollably so she briskly walked to her and collected a stick of cigarette. She made it lit then began to smoke too. She took her phone and dialed David's number again.
Already, Mrs Williams had ordered the police to secure the hospital and investigate the person who tried to kill Udoka.

MR ROBINSON'S RESIDENT
David had arrived sitting before his father in the sittingroom. There was something about him the father couldn't put a finger on: David was behaving unusual. He wasn't smiling neither was he angry. Mrs Robinson who sat beside her husband observed the same thing. Before the father proceeded, David's phone rang. He smiled while picking it.
"Hello my love" he said then the parents looked at each other.
"Why did you go home without letting me know" Sandra sounded on the phone.
"It was urgent dear. But I'll be back soon"
"Please do coz i miss you" the line went dead.
Mr Robinson exhaled. "I guess Udoka is the one that called now" he said.
"No, Dad. It's Sandra"
"Sandra?" the father glanced at his wife then directed his eyes back to David. "Son, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, David" David replied.
"What happened between you and Udoka?"
"Nothing Dad"
"Then why breaking up with her?"
"I don't like her. You guys should stop pestering me about her, please!" David shouted. Just as they were contemplating, a knock came from the door. They weren't expecting anybody so who could be at the door? They wondered. Ugonma didn't need to open it coz it wasn't locked.
"Come in" Mr Robinson permitted.
Mike walked in followed by Mrs Williams and Monica. All looked strange to them except Monica who they thought was Udoka.
"Udoka!" Ugonma shouted then hurried to hug her but Monica gently disengaged herself.
"I'm sorry, I'm not Udoka" she said calmly with a smile.
"Oh, I'm sorry, now i remember she has a twin sister" Ugonma said smiling too.
Mr Robinson was able to recognise Mrs Williams but Mrs Williams didn't know him coz she didn't come in contact with him. Only her late husband related with him.
"Rose Williams" Mr Robinson called then the wife became surprise likewise others. "Please, sit down"
"Thank you" Mrs Williams sat down on a different couch with her daughter, while Mike sat with David who had not said anything even a greeting unlike him. That baffled Mrs Williams.
"This is an unexpected visit" Mr Robinson began. "I know you don't know me but your husband was quite close to me. I'm a native of Ndiogoro village"
"I thought as much" Mrs Williams smiled.
"So what brings you here?"
Mrs Williams exhaled before speaking out. She glanced at David again then said, "Udoka, my daughter, is presently unconscious in the hospital. Armed men tried to kill her. Why I'm here is because Udoka is pregnant, and i know David, your son, has been in a relationship with her. So there is no doubt that he's responsible for it"
"My son is not responsible for any pregnancy" Mrs Robinson retorted.
"Shut up, woman!" the husband rebuked her. He looked at David. "What do you have to say on this, David?" he asked.
"Nothing, i never liked Udoka and I'm not responsible for any pregnancy" David replied.
"What?!" Mrs Williams exclaimed.
"You are a lair, David!" Monica began angrily. "Aren't you the one who broke her virginity?"
"Shut up small girl!" Mrs Robinson shouted at her.
"Don't tell my daughter to shut up again! Mrs Williams backfired. "Is that how you train your children?!"
"You are a fool for saying that!" Mrs Robinson stood up..
