"Why can't you make him eat it yourself?"

"Why are you crying and smiling at the same time?" Adaku asked. She bent down to look at Udoka's face very well. Monica turned instantly with a smiling face. The smile broaden when she also saw the girls dressing.
"You also, Monica?" Faith chipped in. "What is so amusing?"
The twins glanced at each other and looked at the dressing again: a jean skirt worn over black leggings and a white top to match it. On their feet were flat footwears. They also had the same colour of painted toes.
"Why did both of you dress in the same attire?" Udoka asked.
"Coz we are twins just like you" Adaku replied sitting beside Monica.
"Don't mind her. She only wish to be a twin" Faith sat beside Udoka.
The twins smiled.
"So, xup with those tears?" Adaku asked.
"I'll be traveling to UK in three days time" Udoka replied.
"Is that why u are crying?"
"I hope is not because of the so called dreams" Faith interfered then all remained quiet.
"No, it's not" Monica broke the silence"
"Liar" Adaku frowned. You've come again with your lies. You think we don't know when you lie unlike before in the village" She tapped Udoka on the shoulder. "Well, we gonna miss you. I'm not against you traveling. But is that why you were shedding tears?"
Udoka nodded her head while Monica kept smiling and looking at Adaku character.

THE NEXT DAY
Mike prepared food by himself unlike before to use the opportunity to add the maize seed in it. He brought down the food then dished out in a plate with the seed inside. He presented it to David who ate the seed unknowingly. Instantly, Mike left the room. There was a sudden change in David's body which he couldn't figure out. Few minutes later, Udoka arrived with her car. She wanted to inform David about her journey. She knocked at the door then entered with a hand-bag hanging on her elbow. She wore a skirt and shirt which she tucked in.
"Good morning, dear" Udoka wanted to hug David but his voice shocked her.
"Don't touch me!" what are you doing here and who is your dear?"
Udoka became dumbfounded. She stared at David as if she didn't hear him vividly.
"What type of joke is that?" she asked.
"Do i look like I'm joking to you?" David approached closer to her with an angry face..
