THE DARKEST HOUR (Cry of an angel) Season 2 Episode 17

Those were traditional totems at the base of the iroko tree. On the stem of the tree was a black fabric that had an image of a human skull. There were two other smaller trees beside the iroko where caskets could be found lying vertically open. Inside the caskets were human skeletons too. Sandra couldn't remember the last time she witness such a devilish place full of unimaginable features. Therefore, she stood still looking at them. Kate, who stood beside her put off the torchlight then shouted, "Ikuku!" She had committed several murder spiritually, took people's destinies and done so many diabolical things. That explains why she was very rich and mingled with great politicians who had tried to use her for either sacrifice or money rituals. But since she got power from Ikuku, the dweller of the dark forest, non of them had been able to succeed in their mission to use her for their selfishness.
"Ikuku!" Kate shouted again then a dead looking human being appeared thereby making Sandra run behind Kate. He was man in his late seventies but looked strong and healthy having different images on his body. A white circular mark and grey hair could be seen on his eye and jaw respectively.
"I am Ikuku, the dweller of this forest. State your request, daughter of Ikuku!" Ikuku ordered.
Kate pulled Sandra out from her back then glared at her in a way that shows: SPEAK!
"It's.. a.. aba.. about a twin called Udoka" Sandra stammered. "I want you to take away her wealth and render her useless"
Hearing that, Ikuku laughed in horrible tone. He stretched his hand at one of the caskets then the image of Udoka and Monica appeared still in a hugging position. Seeing that, Sandra adjusted behind Kate again who pushed her out for the second time.
"Those are the twins, right?" Ikuku asked then Sandra nodded her head. "Your request is impossible"
"Why?" Kate asked.
"The wealth of the twins was destined through the dark forest of Ndiogoro land. Therefore it is untouchable. Any attempt to sabotage it will cause your life" Ikuku replied.
"Then kill her!" Kate shrieked and Ikuku laughed again.
"They are special beings. No spiritual power can kill them unless a physical attack. So if you really wants her dead, assassinate her with armed men"
The two girls looked at each other speechlessly then Sandra spoke up saying, "I also wants her to leave my man alone"
"That's possible" Ikuku began. He stretched his hand at another casket then two maize seeds appeared. Kate wondered why coz she taught he would request for hers like usual. "Go pick the seeds. Eat one and make your man eat the other then he will totally be yours and develop hatred for the twin. You must kill the twin after three days for an exchange of your life otherwise you die!" Ikuku instructed.
Sandra was at the point of no going back. She hesitantly walked to the casket and picked the seeds. Already, Kate had laid down plans on how to assassinate Udoka.

Back to the resident of the twins, Monica had told Udoka her dream but she she took it as a mare dream. Not until Monica slept again and had another dream at about 5:30am.

DREAM
The white casket laid beside a grave on an unknown land. Monica could see strings tied on it's sides and raised to lower into the grave. "Noo!" she exclaimed running to prevent them. "Leave my sister alone! She's not dead! Please, don't bury her! Udoka! Udoka!" she was shouting as she ran to prevent them but suddenly woke up.

REALITY
When Monica woke up, she found Udoka sitting before a reading table doing an assignment. She wore a milky pyjamas that exposed her pant looking groovy in it. Monica rushed Udoka's bag and began to pack her clothes.
"Why are you packing my belongings?" Udoka asked as she dropped her pen. "Talk to me, Monica" she stood up.
"You are leaving this school" Monica replied without looking at her.
"Why leaving school while I'm not through?"
Monica turned facing her sister with all seriousness. "Udoka, you will definitely die if you don't leave this school"
Udoka smiled, "Is it still about the dream?" she asked mutinously.
"Do you think is funny?!" Monica raised her voice. "Open your eyes, Udoka! This is the second time i dream about this. And you of all people should know that my dreams always come to pass. Have you forgotten about the dark forest of our land?! You are leaving this school. In fact, leave this country. Travel to UK or if you don't wonna go far, go to a neighbouring country, Ghana or South Africa precisely" Monica turned again to pack Udoka's clothes.
"I'm not going anyway. Let that, that will happen happen" Udoka said.
"You are very stupid, Udoka" Monica turned angrily.
"You've started again! Don't call me that or you won't like my reaction!" Udoka fired back.
Their voices attracted Adaku and Faith again..
