THREE DARKEST HOUR. (Cry of an angel) Season 2 Episode 8

Mrs Williams' resident was a storey building with a fence. Though the fence wasn't high but had an electrified wire round it. The wire rested on metals which cross sectional area had an arrow shape and enabled one see the external part of the building. It also had a black gate. Tunde, the gate-man, laid on a bench when he heard the horn of Udoka's car. He stood up, looked through the small gate first before opening the big one. Then Udoka drove in. She parked the car beside her mother's in the garage.
"Welcome, madam!" Tunde waved at her smiling.
"Hi, Tunde" Udoka smiled at him too.
"I'm fine, madam"
Udoka hurried into the house to the first floor through a staircase. There was nobody in the sittingroom but the television was on broadcasting Africa Magic Channel. She sat down, picked the remote and lowered the volume. "Mother!" she called.
Mrs Williams came out from her room with hands on one of her ears. She was actually battling with an ear-ring trying to fix it on her ear. She dressed in a native attire. Though she was a woman in her late forties but she looked younger like she was in her early thirties. She finally hung the ring on her ear and saw her daughter seating haplessly on the couch.
"Udoka, u look pale. What's the problem?"
"Nothing, mother" Udoka replied.
"It can't be nothing" the mother walked to her. She sat on the hand-rest of the chair where Udoka also sat. She placed a hand on her shoulder then persuaded her to talk.
"Mother?" Udoka began. "Is it good for someone to leave the person she loves because of fear of the unknown?"
The mother reasoned the question. She could sense that her daughter had been hurt emotionally, so she replied and said, "It depends on the type of fear. But you shouldn't leave the person you love because of external forces. You have to stick with him or her no matter what. Unless the person in question doesn't deserve your love or love you anymore"
"Mother, you know I'm in a relationship with.."
"David" the mother interrupted. "What has he done to you?"
"Nothing, mother. I broke up with him because of another girl threatened me to leave him. But mother i still love him. I don't know what to do?" Udoka began to cry...

Monica got to Ernest apartment. She wasn't looking happy as she sat on the edge of the bed. She wore a skirt and a top.
"Hi, my angel" Ernest walked out. He sat beside her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "The most beautiful girl in Jumbosco institution especially when she frown her face"
Ernest words made Monica begin to smile. "Stop!" she smiled broadly.
"I thought you won't smile. What's the problem? How is your sister? I know she must be very sad since yesterday"
Monica stared at Ernest surprisingly. "How do you know that?"
"She hasn't told you?"
"Told me what?"
"She broke up with David yesterday after Sandra found and threatened her in his apartment"
"That explained why she shouted at me in such a manner" Monica felt her sister's pains and felt guilty too for her actions towards her. "She should have told me" she murmured.
"What happened?" Ernest asked.
"Never mind dear" Monica said then kissed him. "Oya, entertain me" she concluded.

Mrs Williams consoled Udoka in her arms, dried her tears and said, "You still love David, yet u broke up with him, why?"
"I'm scared of what Sandra might do to me" Udoka replied.
"Is the girl's name Sandra?"
"Yes"
"Alright, my advice to you is never allow the one who loves you go, but not violently. Unless he doesn't deserve your love. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"
"Really?"
"Yes my daughter"
"Thank you, mother" Udoka rested on her arms the more. She decided to spend the night there and go back to David the next day which was also weekend, apologize to him before they'll go see Ugonma his sister. She called David's number severally that night but he didn't pick up.

THE NEXT DAY
Sandra entered the campus with an infinity jeep. One of her customers she called 'Mugu' bought it for her that same day. Already, David had been waiting for her in front of his apartment. Mike and Ernest were there too.
"Guy, are u sure of what you are about to do?" Ernest asked David.
"I only want to please my mum" he replied.
"But i don't see anything wrong with Sandra" Mike interfered but none of the boys replied him. Just than, Sandra arrived with the car. She came out in a short skirt. She wore it with a skinny trouser and a top to march them. The boys looked at one another.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting" Sandra approached.
"Whose car is this?" David asked.
"It's my friend's. I brought it so we can use it for the journey" Sandra lied to terminate more questions. "You can drive" she threw the car key to David who reluctantly entered the car with Sandra in the front seat. The other two boys watched them drove off. Meanwhile, Udoka was on her way with her own car too. Few minutes later, she arrived at David's apartment. When Ernest and Mike saw her coming down from the car, they looked at each other..
