THE DARKEST HOUR (Cry of an angel) Season 2 Episode 1

Ndiogoro village became the wealthiest among other neighboring villages due to the discovery of diamond on the land by the twins of late Mr Williams, Udoka and Monica. The king, igwe Ochioha (second) of Ndiogoro endowed the girls with much love and wealth. The house of late Mr Williams was renovated by the twins and even another was bought in the town. Some part of the wealth was also given to Mr Dike and his family.They were swimming in the pool of money! Mrs Rose Williams, the mother of the twins, started a full time business of her choice in the city while her children were in school; Jumbosco Federal University. Adaku and Faith also gained admission in the the same school, therefore, the four girls lived in one flat.

At a restaurant, Udoka and Monica were found drinking and eating with Sunday and Trust. They were still on their groovy attire. Anybody who sees them would hardly believe that Trust and Sunny were their date, and of course, they were not because they were older than them.
"I thought you said you wanted to spoil me" Sunday began with particles of chicken in his mouth.
"What am i doing if not spoiling you" Udoka queried. "Look at drinks, food, pepper soup, chicken on the table. What else do you want or do you wonna smoke?"
"Or should we order for more food?" Monica added.
"No" Sunny replied. "I have already been spoiled on this part. There is another part that i have not been spoiled"
"Which part?" Udoka stopped eating and glared at Sunday.
"The other part nah.. you know.. the.. the.. the one normally done on the bed which involves negative and positive like.. hum.. you and i"
Hearing that, Monica began to laugh while Udoka frowned.
"Oga Sunny, you've started oh. Which one is negative and positive again?"
"Stop pretending as if you don't know what he's talking about. Please, go and spoil him on that part too" Monica's laughter increased.
"You dey craze!" Udoka rebuked her in pigin English. She turned to Sunday again and said, "Oga sunny, you want to get me angry oh"
"Don't mind him!" Trust spoke up after struggling with a chicken. "That's how he carries unhappiness wherever he goes. Now he wants to make you unhappy"
"I like seeing her angry face. Do you know why?" Sunny began to eat. "Because she looks more beautiful when she's angry"
Hearing that, Monica kept laughing while Udoka began to smile.

The flat apartment of the twins had a fence, black gate, flowers and even a gate-man. Only Adaku and Faith were around when David walked in. He didn't need to introduce himself to the gate-man because he had been visiting. He always looked simple without much dressing. He knocked at the parlour door before it was opened by Adaku who wore a bumshort and yellow top.
"Hi, David"
"Hi, Adaku"
David walked to the inner part of the sittingroom. Faith who was on a couch watching program greeted him with a smile. She wore a black leggings and a white shirt.
"Please, sit down" Adaku offered David a seat.
"I want to see Udoka" David requested without seating.
"They're not around"
"Are they in school?"
"No, according to them, they went to see one of their old friends"
"Okay then" David turned to leave. The girls could sense that something might have happened to him due to how dull he was. So Faith stood up and called, "David!" after David turned, she swallowed saliva and said, "Have you tried to call her on phone?"
"No" David replied.
"Why?"
"My battery is down. We have been out of power in the campus"
"Okay"
David turned to leave again but Faith interrupted him.
"Are you okay? Is everything alright?"
"I'm fine" David clutched the door knob and walked out then the two girls glanced at each other in a way that shows: SOMETHING IS WRONG SOMEWHERE.

In Sandra's apartment, she had always been unhappy. She walked to and fro the room, sometimes bit her finger and scratched her hair. Just then, Elizabeth her room-mate walked in.
"Babe, why are you moving around?"
"Girl, i have suffered?" Sandra stood at a spot while Elizabeth sat on the bed.
"Watin happen?"
"That girl, Udoka, is really stepping on my toes"
"Oh, the twins. What can you do? Can't you see they are rich?"
"Listen, i must make money too and make sure i deal with her if she doesn't mind her business in this school coz i won't allow her mingle with David while I'm in this school"
"Easy kwa, remember u are a student" Elizabeth concluded.

Few hours later, the twins returned home and found only Adaku reading a magazine in sittingroom.
"Hi, girl" Monica sat down and began to off her shoes. Likewise her sister.
"You girls spent much time" Adaku closed the magazine.
"The journey was far" Udoka replied.
"Well, David was here and he didn't look okay"
Udoka swiftly looked at Adaku. Her hands remaind static on her shoes. One could see a necklace made of diamond dangling on her neck. "What happened to him?" she asked.
"I don't know. I only said he didn't look okay" Adaku replied. Instantly, Udoka put back her shoes, grabbed the car key and rushed out..
