THE DARKEST HOUR (Cry of an angel) Season 1 Episode 8

Trust and Sunny weren't clearly visible until they approached closer to the sight of the twins who stopped conversing. When Sunny saw them, he tapped Trust. "Get ready to face trouble before you sleep tonight" he said quietly.
"I don't understand you" Trust also said.
"Aren't you seeing these girls outside. Who knows what they are up...?"
"We are up to nothing oga Sunny" Udoka interrupted him. She had been hearing them and exercising patience until she couldn't bear it anymore. Monica smiled coz she loves such moment when they exchange words.
"Come, between both of you, who is Udoka?" Trust asked.
"Guy, do you have sense at all?" Sunny quarreled him. "Do you need a prophect to tell you that the cockroache who just opened her mouth now is Udoka?"
"Ehn.. Oga Sunny, what did you just call me?" Udoka asked but he ignored her and hurried towards his apartment leaving Trust behind who was smiling at Monica in a way that shows: MY DARLING.
"Oga Sunny, you are worse than a house fly!" Udoka shouted.
"Cheneke!" Sunny exclaimed and turned back dramatically but Trust withheld him.
"Guy, let this girl be" he said.
"No, this one pass me" Sunny objected.
However, Udoka had stood up and held her trouser is if she wanted to fight. The paper containing David's number fell from her without her knowledge then Monica picked it.
"Did you just call me a house fly?" Sunny began trying to disengage from Trust.
"You started it oh" Udoka took a step backward. "Why would u call me a cockroache?"
"Oh, you want to fight me with your tiny legs"
"Can you face me with your tiny hands?" Udoka fired back.
Sunny finally disengaged from Trust then she ran inside the house smiling while Monica laughed seriously. Even Trust couldn't help it. Sunny turned back to his apartment again and said, "This girl has bitten more than she can chew"
"It's better oh! As for you, u have nothing to bite talkless of chewing!" Udoka's voice sounded from inside.
Sunny stopped again, glanced at their door, shook his head and continued walking. "Okay" he concluded.
"Everytime trouble. Nawao!" Monica exclaimed while standing up. "I have told both of you to get married at once" she dusted her buttocks and went inside.

Few minutes later after the funny drama which made the twins forget their pains and sorrows, Mrs Williams came back. Yet, Udoka had no idea that she wasn't with the paper again. All were on the bed but only Monica laid down while Udoka and their mother sat at the edge as silence lingered.
"Mother, i don't like the way you stay late at night these days" Udoka broke the silence.
"I know both of you must be worried" the mother began. "I'm trying to find money to pay for the house bill"
"But must it be at night, mother?" Monica's voice sounded from behind.
"That's when those i meet are available. I'm sorry my children" the mother apologised. The horn of distance vehicles was heard at the tranquility that took over the room. Udoka felt their condition but didn't want to bother about it. She stood up to get food for her mother.

12midnight
Monica could be seen physically trying to cry due to the dream she was having. She was covered with a wrapper lying face-up. Her legs moved and hands touched on the bed forcefully.

DREAM
Monica came closer to the bright light in the Dark Forest. Her heart beat continuously with the feelings of happiness, fear and sorrows at the same time. The rays of the bright light shone on her face while some reflected on tall trees. As she bent down to touch the ground where the light was coming from, a voice came from behind saying, "Monica.."
She turned sharply to see a man in a shadow. She couldn't see his face but had the feelings that he was her late father. "Father?" she called.
"It's a secret" the voice said.
"What secret?"
"The unknown"
"Where am i?" Monica looked around. She saw darkness and light created by the one from the ground. When she turned again to behold the shadow, she saw nothing. "Father? Father come back please" she began to cry..

REALITY
"Father, father, father!" Monica shouted thereby waking her sister and mother up. She also sat up breathing heavily.
"Monica ongini? What?" The mother asked with sleepy eyes. Udoka said nothing but stared at her to answer the question. But Monica couldn't talk rather cried uncontrollably. So the mother brought her head closer to her chest to dry her tears.
"Mother, I'm so scared" Monica said in her arms.
"Is it still about the dark forest of a thing?" Udoka asked then Monica shook her head positively. Mrs Williams and Udoka looked at each other as if they had the same thing in mind.
"Stop crying my child" the mother consoled Monica.

D NEXT MORNING
David woke up with the thought of Udoka and the number he gave to her.
On the other hand, as Udoka began to prepare for work, so as Monica. Suddenly, she remembered the number then stood still thinking critically.
"Monica, have u seen the paper?" Udoka asked..
