The more Mary waited feeling surprise about Henry's question and intelligence, so as Henry took record of her suspicious actions for more observation. He was so smart that he can read your mind from your eyes and locomotion.
Mary suddenly became bold and said, "Nothing serious happened in the office. Miss Vivian only shouted at me. That's all"
"Lies" Henry straightened up and put back his hands inside his pockets.
"I'm saying the truth"
"Then what took you so long to reply me?"
"What is your business by the way?" Mary glared standing up.
Henry brought down his voice but glared back at her. "It may not be my business but sooner or later i must find out what exactly happened inside the office"
Just then both sighted Miss Vivian passing from afar. She also saw them but averted her eyes and finally left out of sight.
Henry wanted to walk away at that moment but turned back. "My advice to you is to be careful with Miss Vivian. I don't want to give you the notion that she might be dangerous but be careful" he finally walked out.
Mary pinned at a spot as if she was paused with a remote. Different thought wandered in her mind. "Can it be that Henry knows what happened? But how can he? It's true that Miss Vivian may be dangerous, but how did he know? He warned me to be careful, does it mean he cares for me?" she wondered in thought and left the mango tree immediately.

Inside Miss Vivian's office, she entered and closed the door. There was a mirror hanging on the wall where she stood before it looking at herself. Suddenly a forest appeared in the mirror and a voice said, "You are running out of time"
"Just give me more time. I have to sleep with a girl first as instructed before bringing souls to you in the forest" Miss Vivian said.

Still on break period, Jerry remained in the classroom sitting on his locker. There were few persons in the classroom hanging around. As he remained quiet, a female voice came from behind.
"Missing someone?"
He turned to see Joyce with snacks. She sat opposite him. "Who do you think I'm missing?" he returned the question.
"Never mind" Joyce handed a snack to him hoping he collects it. Obviously she was inlove with him giving him all the green light for him to notice it.
Jerry looked at the snack then shook his head. "No, thanks"
"Why?"
"I'm not hungry"
"But at least you should have taken it from me as a gentle man"
Jerry smiled as both looked into each other's eyes. Before he stretched his hand to pick the snack, Henry walked into the classroom followed by Mary. None of them were smiling as they retired to their various lockers.
"What's wrong with them?" Jerry asked.
"I don't know" Joyce replied. "I guess they have started falling inlove" she grinned.
"You and i know that Henry is the last person who would fall in love with a girl" Jerry smiled. "Moreover, don't forget that the head-boy has his eyes on Mar.."
The presence of Miss Vivian and the sound of the bell interrupted them and everybody stood up to greet her. She stood at a spot after answering the greetings waiting for all the students to settle down. Mary's eyes occasionally caught with hers but she averted them and rested her head on the locker. "What's happening to me? Has she charmed me with her beauty? What am i even saying? God, save me" she murmured.
"Good afternoon students" Miss Vivian began after all had settled down. Hearing her voice, Mary raised her head up. She looked at Henry's direction to see him staring at her, so she averted her eyes too.
Miss Vivian continued. "Where did you stop on Biology?" she asked walking to and fro in front of the classroom. Henry observed how female students lust after her beauty and round butt then wondered what was happening.
"Terrestrial Habitat" a student replied the question.
"Who then can tell me the features of a terrestrial habitat?"
The class became quiet. Only the sound of her shoes was heard inside the classroom. Nobody knows whether students were thinking about the answer of the question or they were actually thinking about her body.
"Presence of tall trees with broad leaves" Henry answered thereby making the class lively.
"Excellent!" Miss Vivian exclaimed. "I guess we shall be going for an excursion to witness what a terrestrial habitat looks like"
"You mean in a forest?" Henry queried.
"If you regard a terrestrial habitat as a forest, then yes"
"We like to know the name of the forest"
"Kenji Forest. Do you have any problem with that?" Miss Vivian was beginning to get angry.
"Yes, coz we've not heard about the forest before" Henry replied boldly as all the students listened to them.
"It seems like you are disrespectful" she angrily walked closer to his locker. "Who are you and what's your name?"
"I should be asking you that. Who are you, Miss?" Henry queried back "Heeeyyy!" all the students shouted...

There was a thunderous clap and soliloquy in the assembly ground after Miss Vivian introduced herself. Seeing that, she stepped backward with charming smile added to the visible dimples on her cheek.
However, among the SS3 students, only Henry wasn't clapping rather his hands rested inside his pockets. Beside him was his friend, Jerry, who suddenly stopped clapping after seeing him so quiet.
"Henry?"
"What?"
"Why aren't you clapping. You should be happy we have a beautiful lady as a Biology teacher"
Henry took a long look at Jerry but averted his eyes and adjusted his eyesglasses. "She has started charming students with her beauty already." he thought but turned to Jerry again who tapped his shoulder.
"Bro, talk to me"
"I have nothing to say, Jerry" Henry concluded.
At the female line, Joyce and Mary rejoiced like every other students. It was like a culture for students to clap after an introduction of a new teacher, so it wasn't a big deal for the girls to participate on that.
"I guess she's good" Joyce said looking at Mary. "Also, she's beautiful"
"Beautiful?" Mary glanced at Miss Vivian again. "Yeah, she is" she confirmed it with a smile.

The assembly ended happily. An office was given to Miss Vivian which she entered wearing a yellow tight skirt that made the shape of her undies visible. She also wore white longsleeve shirt that was tucked-in properly in the skirt. The size of her breast was nothing to write home about. They weren't too big neither were they too small standing firmly. After looking around the office, she stepped out to the entrance just to see Mary and Joyce entering into their classroom. "Hey, both of you should come, please"
The two girls happily went to her and that drew Henry's attention from his noisy classroom. He watched through the window how Miss Vivian smiled along with them asking them questions until they finally entered into the office.
Nevertheless, inside the office, Miss Vivian said, "Look at a broom over there, pick it and start sweeping. Just dust the office" she stepped aside watching them. She was more interested in Mary due to her beauty and figure.
After the cleaning, she sat on her chair while the girls set to go. Suddenly, a pen fell from her under the table. "Hey, Mary" she called.
"Yes, Miss" Mary returned into the office leaving Joyce outside.
"Help me pick the pen"
"Okay" Mary bent completely under the table to pick the pen but she noticed Miss Vivian opening her legs in a way she had a clear view of her white panties and amazing thighs. Therefore, she stood up instantly with the pen only to see her grinning seriously. "Here is the pen"
"Thank you" Miss Vivian collected it. "Do you like it?"
"What?"
"I mean what you saw"
Mary thought for a while looking at her grinning face. "I don't know what you're talking about, Miss"
"Is okay. You can go now"
Mary went out without hesitation. She became quiet and calmed after meeting up with Joyce. She couldn't explain the meaning of what happened especially the grinning face of Miss Vivian.
Seeing her mood, Joyce asked, "Girl, what happened?"
"Nothing" she replied.
However, Henry noticed something from the window after seeing them coming out: both especially Mary wasn't as happy as she was before entering the office. Therefore he recorded it on his observation book.

BREAK PERIOD
Students wandered around the school premises. Nobody knew about the electric spark between the new Biology teacher and Mary except Henry who had just 10% idea about it. He also believe that the worse would soon happen in the school.
Just as he came out from his classroom, he spotted Mary sitting alone under a mango tree. Her posture was more like a rapped girl. As she wallowed in thought of Miss Vivian's initial question and attitude, Henry came standing before her with hands in his pockets, so she straightened up surprisingly.
"What?"
"I should be asking you that, Mary. What is your problem?"
Mary smiled. Everybody in the school knew Henry as someone who doesn't have time for girls, so she didn't want to believe that he had suddenly developed feeling for her by showing concern about her well being.
As a smart student, Henry read her mind and said, "I'm not interested in you or have any emotional feelings for you. So don't get me wrong"
"Then why are you here?" Mary frowned.
"Can i ask you a question?"
"What?"
"If a child goes into a room happily and comes out sadly, what do you think would be the cause of the sadness?"
"Something must have happened in the room which the child didn't expect or like" Mary replied as an afterthought.
"Exactly!" Henry brought his hands out from his pockets and bent forward staring at her face seriously. "You entered into Miss Vivian's office happily but came out sadly. What happened inside the office?"

LOVE AND ADVENTURE (SS3 Students Excursion) Season 1 Episode 1

It was a fresh Monday morning with no sunlight but morning dews. The roads were yet to get busy by bus drivers and passengers. Divine Glorious Academy anticipated students from several places who began to arrive at school in a large number because Mondays were known to be a serious day at school. If you are to be late on other days of the week, don't be on Monday coz Sir Best wouldn't take it likely with you. He was a young man in his 28. Many female students admired him but he never cared but carried out his duties both as a disciplinarian and a teacher. He doesn't joke with any students.
Nevertheless, the school environment began to saturate with students in red and white uniform: red skirt, white longsleeves shirt and white canvas for senior female students. While red trouser, white shirt and canvas for males. Junior students wear shortleeves and shot knickers. There were three elongated buildings with classrooms placed in U-shape and assembly ground in between them. Though it wasn't yet assembly period but students could be seen hanging around there. Henry stood with hands inside his pockets surveying the environment with an observation. He was quiet and cool with critical thinking faculty. He wasn't too fair in complexion but had a handsome body. He was the only person known to wear eyeglasses in the whole school. Suddenly, he saw Mr Best leading a young lady to the principal's office.
"I guess that must be a new teacher" a male voice came from behind. Before Henry turned, the person had already placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Oh, Jerry" Henry realized who he was and concentrated on the young lady again going to the principle's office with Mr Best. "Yes, i guess she's a new teacher but.." he added with a strange pause.
"But what?" Jerry released his hand from his shoulder standing in the same posture with him.
"There is something about her"
"What?"
"I can't put a finger on it"
Jerry sighed with an offensive look. "Guy, when will you stop this your unnecessary observations about people?"
"Until i prove psychology as a science to everybody" Henry walked out living Jerry in confusion. There was nothing like psychology in secondary school which was the main cause of the confusion. As Jerry wallowed in it, Joyce and Mary arrived. Both having the appearance of twins only that they had different faces.
"Hey, Jerry, you look confuse" Marry patted him. "Worry no more, she's here now" she smiled.
"Who are you talking about?" Jerry asked without smiling.
"Your crush, Joyce"
"Oh, stop!" Joyce retaliated missing several friendly punch at Mary while Jerry let out a smile. They normally behave like that. Both stood still in front of him again then Joyce said, "Don't mind her. What's the problem?"
"Nothing" Jerry replied. "Did you seen the lady that entered into the principle's office with.."
"Yeah, we saw her" Mary interrupted.
"Who's she?" Joyce asked.
"I have no idea. I guess she's a new teacher" Jerry replied.
"Well, we shall know during assembly"
"But Henry said there is something strange about her"
Hearing that, the two girls began to laugh as if the statement was funny.
"What's funny?" Jerry asked spreading his hands.
"So, na Henry you dey listen to? Heey!" Joyce clamped her hands dramatically.
"Leave Henry with his stupid observation that has no hypothesis, experiment and theory not to talk of conclusion" Mary laughed. Suddenly, the bell rang for assembly to take place.

Students gathered around giving bright colours of white and red. All respected and conducted themselves in a responsible manner without giving headache to Ruddy, the head boy who stood before the multitude making sure that all observes the terms and conditions guiding the assembly-ground and the school at large. He was tall and plumpy. Just as the national anthem ended and seeing the principal coming with the young lady, he said. "Put your ears on ground with no distractions let's hear from the principal" he stepped down leaving the arena for them.
Everybody directed their eyes to the young lady who stood with Mr Dickson, the principle. She was extremely beautiful with no much make-up. She's fair, average in height and meek in heart. Henry observed her strange smile, movement and eye contact to students. "Gush!" he murmured.
The principle had a dark complexion well dressed in a black plain trouser and shirt with a necktie.
"Good morning students" he began. "Today i bring good news to the senior students of Divine Glorious Academy. The lady standing beside me will be handling you on one of the interesting subjects. Let's hear from her"
The lady took a step forward in the silence that circulated the assembly ground. Mary looked up to see their eyes caught together but she never cared waiting to hear from her like other students.
"I'm Miss Vivian, your new Biology teacher" the lady introduced..

SYNOPSIS

Like their faces are different, so as their feelings. Mary, one of the SS3 students suddenly develops feelings for her female teacher, Miss Vivian. Why? Strange things happens in the school that Henry observes critically coz he is always quiet and wise.
Jerry never wanted anything to do with girls but trapped by Joyce's love.
Mary and Miss Vivian, Henry's critical observation and Joyce's love for Jerry become obvious during the day of their excursion to a forest. Unknowing to them, the forest is an evil one suggested by Miss Vivian.

There was joy in the ward after Mrs Nancy embraced her grandson. She sighted Jimmy lying unconscious then the tears she tried to withhold finally dropped. She straightened her eyes again to see her husband looking at her in an uncharacteristic inquisitive expression. Of course she knew the next interrogation she was gonna receive from him.
"Where did you go to, woman?" Mr Ethen finally asked her.
Everybody's eyes directed to her, even Ellen who started feeling belonged to the family without a proposal from her boyfriend, but she was unique, loving and understanding.
"I went to Hezas" Mrs Nancy began. "There i stood beside Dave's grave crying for him to break the curse. Suddenly, he appeared and let go of it" she explained on a nutshell then all became amazed.
"Just like that?" Kate queried.
"Yes, just like that" a male voice sounded from behind thereby making them to turn. They saw the pastor who managed to be on his feet coming gradually. "Nothing is impossible to God. His ways are not our ways. Twenty-five years in the eyes of men is like twenty-five days to him. He does his things at his own time. When he says yes, no man or spirit can say no" he finally drew closer looking at Alex yet nobody said a word. "The Lord said to me, "You shall not die but pray for the woman whom i have made to leave to Hezas for the plead to break the curse coz she's the only one who can solve the problem at hand"" the poster looked at Mrs Nancy then continued. "Only because of that were you able to arrive safely coz the forces of the curse wanted to kill you on your way to Hezas"
"Oh my God!" Mrs Nancy exclaimed then remembered what happened on her way to Hezas.

FLASH BACK
On a lonely road, Mrs Nancy Drove faster with all the glasses of her car locked. Nothing could be heard except the Christian song that played inside the car. The velocity of the car could be detected by the fast movement of grasses and trees running along the roadside. Suddenly, the music stopped. Mrs Nancy tried to know why but loosed control of the steering wheel. "Jesus!" she exclaimed matching the break which refused to respond. "Oh my God.." she kept matching the break and controlling the car until it pulled to a stop. The music began to play again..

CONTINUITY
All understood how God intervened and made sure the prayers of his people were answered at his own time. Therefore Kate couldn't help it but to praise God. Just as they sighed in relieve, Jimmy coughed awake at the opposite bed. He couldn't move his body but understood were he was. He looked by the side to see his wife smiling at him.
"Where is Alex?"
"He's fine. Thank God you are okay too" the wife replied.
Jimmy also saw others looking and smiling at him in an encouraging and peaceful manner which made him believe that things were okay.

A MONTH LATER
Before Alex set to go back to service, Mrs Nancy slept but never woke up again. She died at the age of sixty-nineth. Her death was regarded as 'peaceful rest.' All attended her burial even Mrs Tunte.
Nevertheless, At Jimmy's residence, Alex sat with his legs crossed and operating his phone. He was in his NYSC uniform. Beside him was his luggage. He was actually waiting for Ellen for them to go back to service. Suddenly, the mother came out with a sour face.
"Alex, it's getting late"
"Mum, Ellen will soon be here" Alex glanced at her. "Your face doesn't look bright. Any problem?"
"Don't mind me" the mother wanted to sit but the presence of Ellen who entered interrupted her.
"Good day, mother" Ellen gave her a hug. Kate reciprocated with a smile wondering how good she was. She was a pure replica of her in attitude.
"Welcome my daughter. Please, don't let go of my son. Take care of him"
"Trust me, i will" Ellen replied as she moved to carry Alex's luggage.
"Mum!" Alex shouted then both stared at him. Ellen had an idea of the cause of his shouting so she began to smile.
"What's it, Alex?" the mother asked.
"You're making me look like a child. I should be the one taking care of her not the other way round" Alex replied.
"I knew it!" Ellen began to laugh moving towards the door. Even Kate started laughing but gently embraced him.
"I know son. Nobody is dragging the fact that you're the boss but we women know what we're saying. Remember, you're the head but we're the neck"
"I don't believe in that shit, mum!" Alex smiled moving towards the door. "I love you mum!"
"I love you too, son! Bye!" Kate kept smiling and waving.

In the evening, Kate came back rejoicing. Jimmy, the husband couldn't guess the cause of her joy until she announced to him that she was a month pregnant confirmed by a doctor. Jimmy hugged her happily and Mrs Tunte, his mother, became friendly with them from then.

Old Clinton, Dave's father, died on his one hundredth birthday. So one of his relatives showed Mrs Nancy where the skeleton was buried. It was within the local compound but at the backyard. Few meters from the grave was a dark bush influenced by the dark weather. The sound of crickets and other notorious animal was heard within the arena. The grave had the same level with the normal ground due to how long it has been. But the only thing that made it recognizable were planted flowers which circulated it.
Mrs Nancy's dress had the same colour with the rose flower in her hand-red gown. Behind her was an old man, one of late Clinton's relatives. He had a staff in his hand looking thin and having gray hair both on the head and jaw.
"Dave, how do you claim to love me but put me in this bondage?" Mrs Nancy began in tears. "I loved you and i still do. The love we shared together is still fresh in my memory and i will never forget it. Please, take me with you and spare my grandson and his generation to come. Please, take me and break the curse. I beg you in the name of God. It is becoming unbearable to us. Please, take my life" she dropped the flower on the grave, laid on it and cried seriously. The old man behind began to shake his head piteously. Of curse he knew what she was talking about.
Just as Mrs Nancy cried, Dave appeared beside the grave holding a living heart in his hand and bleeding all over his body. The interior part of his body could be seen open without a heart or anything inside it. When Mrs Nancy saw him, she rushed up standing on the grave without making a move. She was the only one who could see him.
"Dave?"
"Yes, my love"
"Dave, please, break the curse and spare the life of my grandson and his generation to come" Mrs Nancy knelt down regardless her old age.
"Why would i do that my love?" Dave began to shed tears too. "Just look at me, I'm heartless. I was slaughtered alive like an animal, i felt my own heart being cut off from me and my body left to decay like a dead animal making my spirit to wander restlessly. I was denied the dream of marrying you, the dream of spending the rest of my life with you my love. Though i never knew the curse will turn back to hurt you. I never knew that the son of the man who killed me will get married to your daughter"
"But you know better now"
"I have always known but.."
"Please, have mercy on me and break he curse" Mrs Nancy interrupted. "You can still take me with you" she added.
The old man bent forward looking around to see who Mrs Nancy was speaking with but saw nobody.
Dave looked at the heart in his hand then released it to the air where it vanished. He looked at Mrs Nancy.
"Your grandson is safe. The sin of his forefather will not visit him again. I love you, Nancy" he disappeared.

Back to the hospital, the pastor's mouth gradually stopped moving and he opened his eyes.
On the other hand, Alex showed a sign of life in him by taking a deep breath and opened his eyes too. That attracted Ellen, Mr Ethen and Kate.
"Alex?" the mother called.
"Mum?" Alex looked around by just rolling his eyes coz he couldn't move his head. "What happened, mum?" he asked.
"Nothing to worry about my child. The only thing that matters now is that you're okay" the mother began to caress his cheek.
"My child, thank God you're okay" Mr Ethen added.
"Grandfather?" Alex looked around again. "Where is grandma?" he asked.
"She's fine. Just wait a moment" Mr Ethen rushed out to call the house-help again.
Ellen placed one of her ears on Alex's chest to hear his heart beating normally. "It's a miracle" she thought with a smile on her face.
Kate raised her eyes to see Mrs Regina talking to her husband and stood up to meet them. The pastor was able to recognise her.
"Madam Kate"
"Yes, pastor"
"How's your son?"
"He's fine. He's here too"
"Thank God" the pastor took a deep breath. He had a lot to say but waited for the right time.

Back to Labon, Mrs Nancy just arrived to meet the house-help answering a call in the living room.
"..sir, she's back now" the girl fearfully handed the phone to her madam saying, "Oga wants to talk to you. He has been looking for you"
Mrs Nancy placed the phone on her ear and the husband told her the situation of things without minding to ask her were she went to. He reserved that for another time. So Mrs Nancy called her driver and both began to drive to Unna. She glanced at the digital clock inside the car: 8:30pm.

Mrs Nancy arrived at the hospital standing beside her grandson whose eyes were closed. She hoped she doesn't create another scene. "Alex?" she called with a low voice then Alex slowly opened his eyes. He didn't see her as a sixteen year old girl anymore.
"Grandma?"
"Oh, my grandson" Mrs Nancy embraced him lightly. "Thank God you're okay" she added winking her eyes to prevent tears..
